I am finally writing from Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Today has been insane, and I'm about to pass out but here's an overview:
-Woke up to find out flight was delayed
-Drove to the airport and sat at our terminal for an hour before boarding
-Sat on airplane for an hour because there was an issue with balance
-Finally landed at JFK at 1
-Got to Park Slope at 2
-Quickly discovered that my key and the door don't get along and we can't lock the door
-Then discover that they really don't get along
-2 hours later (after much freaking out on my mom's part) we acquire the right key from someone
-Finally had "lunch" at 5 at a really interesting Thai place
But I really like it here. There are Brownstones everywhere, open markets, all the restaurants are completely open to the street and it's just wonderful. Hopefully this will be the best summer yet.
